Role OverviewThe Resident Director works collaboratively with other Student Affairs departments and the University community to create a positive living environment for all students. This live-on position involves developing and supervising the Residence Life Staff, overseeing co-curricular programming, and providing a vibrant campus life that complements students' educational experience.
What You Will Do
The Resident Director coordinates class-specific program models, supervises Residence Life student staff members, serves in the on-duty rotation, conducts one-on-one meetings, and assists with planning and implementation of Residence Life programs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have two to four years of Residence Life experience, direct involvement in student supervision, and campus on-call experience. A Master's degree in Higher Education or a related field is preferred.
