Job Description
We are seeking a Resident Engineer/Inspector (REI) with an active Professional Engineer (PE) license to serve as the owner’s representative on large-scale heavy civil infrastructure projects. This role is PE-driven, combining engineering oversight, construction management, and project leadership.

Requirements

  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York required; New Jersey PE license preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in resident engineering, construction inspection, and project management for heavy civil projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with bridges, tunnels, heavy foundations, utility relocations, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, project scheduling, budgeting, estimating, and forecasting.
  • Experience managing change orders, contract administration, and construction negotiations.
  • Professional certifications such as CCM, PMP, or CWI strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work fully on-site, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a proactive approach to project delivery.
