Job Description
The Resident Lifestyle Director (Activity Director) provides life-enrichment activities for seniors in our community, overseeing a team of activity assistants, coordinators, and drivers. They plan and organize activities, events, and outings, and ensure policies and procedures are implemented.

Requirements

  • High School degree is required
  • Associate degree or higher in gerontology, business, human services, or a related field is preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in designing and leading life-enrichment activities for seniors
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare management in a supervisory role is preferred
  • Training or at least 1 year in dementia care is a plus
  • Previous event planning experience is strongly preferred
  • Creativity, empathy, patience, and passion for helping others
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to motivate
  • Knowledge of various computer systems, particularly Excel, Word, and Canva
