Role OverviewThe Resident Occupancy Specialist will provide a superior level of customer service to residents, guests, and team members at the property site. This role is responsible for showing and leasing apartments, assisting in the moving process, and providing administrative support to the Community and/or Services Maintenance Manager.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of this role include answering calls, scheduling appointments, conducting in-person visits, processing applications, and managing rental payments. The Specialist will also be responsible for initiating maintenance service requests, conducting service inspections, and facilitating community engagement activities.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to type at least 35 wpm, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience in Section 8 housing and LIHTC is preferred.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Customer service experience in Property/Hotel/Retail, Sales 1+ year
- Experience and proficiency of Microsoft Office
- Industry software such as Yardi a plus
