Role OverviewThe Resident Support Specialist is a client-facing role that requires in-person interaction and direct service delivery to participants at Episcopal Community Services (ECS) program locations. The role helps create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents and visitors. The Specialist ensures front desk operations run smoothly, responds to emergency and non-emergency situations, and helps maintain a secure and inclusive atmosphere.
What You Will Do
Primary duties include welcoming residents and visitors, operating the front desk, monitoring common areas, maintaining accurate records, responding to emergencies, and providing administrative support to the Support Services Manager.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Experience in hospitality, customer service, community services, or a related field preferred

- Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency or high-stress situations
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding resident dignity
- Basic computer skills (email, data entry, incident reporting)
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, which may include lifting up to 30 lbs
