Role Overview

The Area Director – DD/IDD Services oversees all residential programs and services across the assigned geographic region, providing leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to ensure high-quality services for individuals with disabilities.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field; Experience: Minimum of seven years' experience in the field of developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or mental health; Leadership Experience: Four years’ experience as a supervisor or manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field
  • Minimum of seven years' experience in the field of developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or mental health
  • Four years’ experience as a supervisor or manager
  • Must be able to meet Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professionals (QIDP) qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets agency insurance requirements
