Role Overview

The Residential Construction Carpenter reports to the Senior Construction Supervisor. The Construction team is responsible for completing three phases of new home building: framing, installation of exterior siding, storm doors and porch railings, and installation of interior doors, trim and cabinets. This position may be entry-level or experienced, with on-the-job training provided.

What You Will Do

The Construction Carpenter will be responsible for completing tasks assigned by the Senior Construction Supervisor and experienced team members, learning to read and work from blueprints, and developing skills to safely operate and maintain construction tools.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of methods, materials, tools, safety practices, and equipment used in the homebuilding trade
  • Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
  • OSHA 10 certification within one year of employment start date
  • First Aid/CPR training within six months of employment start date
