Residential Construction Worker

Champion Home Builders is seeking an experienced and reliable construction professional to join the team. The Construction Set Crew Member will participate in all aspects of the construction and assembly of manufactured housing and will report directly to a Construction Crew Lead.

What You Will Do

Set Manufactured Housing Units, structurally fasten the units, complete the roof closure and shingling, close up the exterior mate wall sheathing seams, complete interior trim out, finish work, and install skirting.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction or repair of houses or buildings
• Ability to troubleshoot, reason, and solve problems
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40lbs
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for full duration of workday
• Must be able to obtain a certified medical card
• Must have clear vision at both close and distant ranges
• Must be able to hear clearly
• Must be willing to travel, with occasional overnight stays
• Must provide valid driver's license and hold clean driving record
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
