Role OverviewResidential Counselors provide supervision and support to up to 6 adolescents in residential treatment for 45-60 days for issues related to mental health and substance abuse. They support clients in daily activities and facilitate groups. This position is challenging yet rewarding, with opportunities to make a significant impact in the lives of teens and their families.
What You Will Do
Provide one-to-one support and supervision, create a safe environment, join clients in experiential activities, lead psychoeducation groups, and respond calmly during challenging moments. Keep accurate documentation and support teens in building independence through everyday life skills.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Available on weekends
- Experience working with teens preferred
- Experience working in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred
