Role OverviewThe Residential Energy Assessor & Quality Assurance Inspector will conduct residential unit energy assessments and quality assurance inspections. The role will involve driving to clients' homes, completing building assessments, and ensuring compliance with program policies and guidelines.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will perform duties such as conducting residential unit energy assessments, quality assurance inspections, data entry, customer service, and record keeping. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- At least one year of satisfactory paid experience in customer service, sales, marketing/promotion, or quality assurance/control
- BPI Certification
- Experience in performing inspections, HVAC testing or installation, minor home repairs, and/or weatherization
- Knowledge of CA IS Manual Standards (WIS)
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to learn and use specialized tools and software
- Effective communication in English (written and oral)
- Clean driving record and ability to read and follow maps
- Ability to prioritize work and manage various tasks
- Self-starter, motivated, patient, organized, and detail-oriented
