Job Description
We are looking for a Residential Facility Cook to join our team at Horizon. The successful candidate will have food service skills and experience working in a reception-style setting, long-term care setting, or restaurant setting. As a Residential Facility Cook, you will prepare meals for patients, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and adhere to FDA, USDA, State, and County safe food handling procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with two or more years of cooking experience in a reception-style setting, long-term care setting, restaurant setting, or similar facility
  • Associate's degree in Culinary Arts
  • Two or more years of cooking experience
  • Ability to work and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Ability to adhere to FDA, USDA, State, and County safe food handling procedures
