Role Overview

As a Residential Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining our community's buildings, equipment, and grounds while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and providing outstanding service to tenants and staff. You'll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment, and ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and building codes.

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment, responding to maintenance requests and work orders, conducting routine inspections and testing of fire protection, security, and life-safety systems, and maintaining community vehicles and equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of maintenance experience involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, technical documents, and work orders
  • Experience safely using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and electric meters
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to participate in a 24-hour on-call maintenance rotation
