Job Description
The Residential Program Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the program, including supervision of Youth Stabilization Specialists, staffing, scheduling, activity planning, and upholding high standards of work with children and families.
Requirements
Provide direct supervision (individual and group), support, coaching, modeling, and training to Youth Stabilization Specialists.
Nurture and sustain a positive and resilient team culture that centers Seneca’s core values.
Perform the following personnel functions: interviewing, hiring, supervision, training, performance management, and evaluation.
Develop, organize, implement, and evaluate the daily activity program at the STRTP.
Develop and manage shift schedules to ensure adequate day-to-day staffing for the safe, effective, and compliant operation of the program.
Remain knowledgeable of all clients and ensure appropriate safety planning for all.
Respond to crises and provide consultation as needed.
Provide direct care coverage as needed to support safe and effective operations of the STRTP, including transportation of clients to activities or appointments as needed
Understand the terms and conditions of program contract and licensing regulations, and implement strategies for tracking and reporting all required data.
Review, provide feedback, and approve documentation of supervisees to ensure compliance and expected billing.
Participate in weekly supervision with the Program Director/Assistant Director.
Participate in weekly manager’s meetings to coordinate and plan around ongoing staff training, hiring, and retention.
Participate fully in site-wide initiatives, projects, and plans.
Provide on-call consultation and response as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's Equilibrium model training.
