Residential Service Plumber

We are seeking a Service Plumber to handle a range of residential plumbing tasks, including troubleshooting, installing, and repairing plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with homeowners.

What You Will Do

Diagnose problems and failures in plumbing systems and equipment, install and assemble plumbing systems and equipment, perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on water and gas systems, and test for leaks.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial systems, and will be able to lead apprentices, work well within a team, and coordinate with other trades on larger projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial systems
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications
• Expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing water, gas, and sewage systems
• Familiarity with local and state plumbing codes and regulations
• Experience with various tools and equipment, such as pipe cutters, threaders, and soldering tools
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues and recommend effective solutions
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and supervisors
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and handling tools for extended periods
• Safety-Oriented: In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Customer Service: Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service, with a focus on professionalism and customer satisfaction
• Technology Skills: Basic knowledge of mobile apps and work management software to track tasks and report on job progress
