Role Overview

The Residential Site Manager is responsible for managing housing programs for people with disabilities, providing a safe and welcoming environment, and ensuring the highest level of independence possible. They will lead a team of 8-12 staff members and supervise residents' finances, care, and treatment services. The manager will also ensure documentation and regulatory compliance, enforce safety and house rules, and coordinate home and grounds maintenance.

What You Will Do

The main responsibilities of the Residential Site Manager include assisting residents with daily activities, planning and coordinating treatment services and care, maintaining a clean and safe living environment, managing expenses, and assisting administration with public relations and financial reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, Psychology, Education, Rehabilitation, Recreation Therapy, Sociology, Nursing Degree, or bachelor's degree in a related field as approved by DHS
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • CPR, 1st Aid, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and DSP training
  • Illinois Food Service and Sanitation certificate
  • Passing TABE literacy assessment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Passing criminal background check
  • Passing State and Federal registry checks
  • Passing DCFS Abuse and Neglect Tracking System Check
  • Maintaining valid driver's license and being 21 or older to drive Company van
