Role OverviewThe Residential Stabilization Worker provides stabilization in a home-like environment with youth in placement and youth dealing with a Mental Health crisis using the components of the Teaching Family Model while assisting with the daily operations of the Kauffman House program.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include implementing the Teaching Family Model, developing and revising individualized treatment plans, working with youth and their families, and maintaining accurate fiscal documentation.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services related field from an accredited college
- Experience working with youth at risk or their families
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, in the English language
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Must carry own auto insurance with at least 100,000/300,000/100,000 coverage
- Ability to maintain records and document case notes daily
- Ability to give and accept feedback as a part of a team
- Ability to traverse within the workspace and community frequently
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs
- Ability to transport at least 25 pounds
- Be willing to learn and work with the treatment philosophies
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
