The Resilience Planner position is an on-call Emergency Operations Center (EOC) team position within New York City, providing support in risk analysis for NYC's emergency preparedness and resiliency. Requirements

  • Assist in the development and updating of the Hazard Mitigation Plan.
  • Enhance and maintain the Hazard History and Consequence Tool.
  • Coordinate with government agencies to collect data for risk analysis tools.
  • Conduct ongoing research on emerging hazards and resiliency strategies.
  • Create and update hazard profiles.
  • Develop tools for cost-effectiveness analysis of mitigation projects.
