Role OverviewProvide respiratory care services, support pulmonary rehabilitation efforts, and work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes.
What You Will Do
Assess residents with pulmonary diseases, perform and interpret respiratory assessments, administer respiratory treatments, and monitor resident response to treatment.

Requirements
- Current New York State Respiratory Therapist License
- Ventilator and tracheostomy experience
- Long-term care experience
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate documentation
- Physical ability to perform frequent standing, walking, and resident care activities, including lifting up to 20 pounds
