Role OverviewThe Respiratory Therapist is a member of the interdisciplinary team working in collaboration with the Physician. The Respiratory Therapist utilizes the care process consistent with their license and certification including initiation of interventions within individual scope of practice.
What You Will Do
Assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care, including education and documentation.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Prior experience in critical care is preferred, but not required. Proficiency in Clinical Applications is preferred at time of hire.
Requirements
- Licensed by the State of New Jersey
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- NRP preferred for staff assigned to the NICU
- 3 years critical care experience for pool candidates
- Proficiency in Clinical Applications
