Role OverviewThe Program Director will provide effective leadership for the Respiratory Therapy Program, including ongoing program planning, course scheduling, and assessment, communication with stakeholders and accreditation bodies, and fiscal management. The position requires a commitment to innovative and relevant education for students.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include collaboration with faculty, maintaining high standards of teaching and scholarship, leading efforts for program initiation, organizing student advising procedures, and developing and maintaining collaborations with other colleges/programs.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in a healthcare related field, a valid GA Respiratory Care Practitioner license, and a Registered Respiratory Therapist credential. They will also have experience in planning, assessment, and evaluation, as well as curriculum development and teaching experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in a healthcare related field of study
- Valid GA Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
- Familiarity with planning, assessment, and evaluation process
- Curriculum Development experience
- A minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience teaching
- Complete the CoARC Key Personnel Training Program
