Role OverviewThe J Resort is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to oversee the F&B Department, ensuring high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The GM will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective channels of communication with all employees, ensuring accurate financial and personnel/payroll-related administrative duties, and promoting the brand in the local community.
What You Will Do
The GM will be responsible for establishing and maintaining safety policies and procedures, counseling and guiding restaurant managers and assistant managers, and ensuring that all financial and personnel/payroll-related administrative duties are completed accurately and on time.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have upscale, buffet, bar, and restaurant experience, with a Bachelor's degree or 3 to 5 years of equivalent work experience. The GM will be responsible for promoting the brand in the local community, recommending ways to reach a broader audience, and training new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 to 5 years Equivalent Work Experience
- Must have upscale, buffet, bar, and restaurant experience
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be able to clearly communicate with guests in conversational English
- Must have prior cash handling experience
- Nevada Alcohol Awareness card
