Job Description
As a Retail Accounting Manager at Yesway, you will oversee general ledger accounts, perform financial statement and KPI reporting, and assist with budget and forecasting activities. You will also mentor and coach direct reports and ensure compliance with contractual agreements. This is a full-time position based in Fort Worth, TX, and requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail environment.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail environment
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
  • CPA or public accounting experience is strongly desired
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Strong knowledge of application and accounting principles
  • Excellent organizational, written, and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills, most importantly with MS Excel
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
  • Team player and ability to work in fast-paced changing environment
  • Previous experience using PDI software, a plus, but not required
