Retail Security Guard

The Retail Security Guard provides security detail as outlined in the post orders and establishes working relationships with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments. The Security Officer must maintain a professional image and demonstrate excellent customer service.

What You Will Do

Duties may vary depending on department size, organizational structure, geographic location, and post assignments. The Security Officer will control entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, patrol buildings and perimeters, escort material and personnel, inspect security and fire exposures, and perform special assignments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum 3 -- 6 months prior experience in loss prevention, life safety, CCTV systems, or access computer systems
• State Guard license is required
• Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screen
