Job Description
RETAIL STORE TAILOR - ALTERATIONS provides personalized tailored career services to help customers find the perfect fit for their attire. They are looking for a motivated and customer-friendly retail tailor-alterations team member to assist customers with alterations, garments, and providing excellent service. The role involves greeting customers, answering questions, marking, pressing, and keeping the shop organized.
Requirements
Formal training for tailoring preferred
Experience as a tailor for menswear highly preferred
Good technical skill
Sound knowledge of various types of sewing equipment
Strong communication skills
Team attitude and enthusiasm
Proficiency in all basic and advanced alterations of men’s tailored clothing
Must have formal training for tailoring
