Job Description
The Retirement Claims Examiner will examine all claims in assigned states, grant final approval of claims within limits, and recommend payments beyond limits and claim denials. The role will also involve communicating with various stakeholders, handling problem claims, and maintaining complete and accurate documentation of claim files.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or two years Retirement and Tax experience and FLMI
  • 3+ years experience working with AI models and frameworks, data management tools and data platforms
  • Basic insurance knowledge preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws as they pertain to SFBLIC annuity and RPS products
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Excellent judgement and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent organizational skills
