Job Description
The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking an Assistant Civil Engineer to perform reviews of engineering plans for Cross-Connection or Backflow Prevention Assembly installation on water service lines, evaluate BFP applications, and ensure proposed installations meet DEP standards and requirements.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in civil engineering
  • One year of full-time satisfactory experience in civil engineering work
  • Or a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and a Master's degree from an accredited college in civil engineering
