Job Description
KBR is seeking an Electronics Technician to be part of a dynamic and diverse team, with a common goal of improving the world responsibly and safely. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience with satellite communication systems and a Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Requirements

  • Must have a Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • 8 years of experience with satellite communication systems including controllers, positioners, RF sub systems and components, antennas, receivers and frequency conversion units.
  • Must be able to develop test plans and procedures, perform tests, and analyze test data for validity.
  • Must be able to perform system or component analysis.
  • Must be able to develop deliverable end products from engineering documentation and drawings.
  • Must be able to perform complex repairs including replacement of components parts based on troubleshooting results.
  • Must be able to fabricate prototype and assemble complex components.
  • Must be able to perform cable fabrication and integration of equipment into larger systems.
  • Must be able to assist in design activities by compiling data related to the design, technical specifications and components materials needed for finished units.
  • Must be able to utilize AUTOCAD to perform design changes and updates.
  • Must be able to perform research on parts or equipment as required to assist engineering staff.
