Rigger

Requirements

• Follow all Hanwha Philly Shipyard rules and regulations
• Selects cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, shackles, clamping devices, blocks, synthetic slings and sheaves
• Attach pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures
• Attach load with grappling devices to crane hook
• Gives directions to Overhead Crane Operator or Hoisting Engineer
• Sets up, braces, and rigs hoisting equipment
• Use proper hand signals to signal crane operators and radio communication
• Visually inspect all rigging gear
