Job Description
Plan, lay-out, install all necessary rigging components for lifting and installing equipment, machinery, pipe, steel, etc., in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to understand information, ideas, direction and then be able to perform the task or project discussed and ask questions to ensure you understand the information given
  • Must have working knowledge of construction equipment, lifting devices, rigging tools and their capacities and working knowledge of all aspects of the rigging craft
  • Must have a working knowledge and understanding of different rigging and rigging techniques and methods
  • Must have demonstrated capabilities in communicating with both the equipment operator and other craft persons
