Job Description
The Risk and Compliance Specialist will provide direct support to the operations team and assist both our asset and non-asset based companies. This position will support the compliance department with regulatory compliance, training, auditing, and ensuring the company adheres to federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Protect the company from financial loss and occurrences that can impact the company’s profit.
  • Facilitate all safety-related testing and recordkeeping.
  • Audit air shipments to ensure compliance with TSA regulations.
  • Work with TSA Authorized Representatives to ensure compliance with RLG corporate standards and IACSSP Regulations.
  • Manage security functions (badges/alarm codes/access control) for all stations.
  • Assist with ensuring the company is compliant with all governmental regulations and bodies including but not exclusive to; CBP, DHS, DOT, FAA, FDA, FMC, IATA, TSA, OSHA.
  • Maintain and update training records for all areas of compliance, insurance, hazmat, and safety.
  • Work with all facility management to ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Manage the process for All Risk insurance certificates and obtain required approvals as needed.
