Role OverviewThe Claims Processing Specialist performs specialized claims work related to the processing and mitigation of workers compensation claims, and property and casualty claims. The employee will prepare claims data for submission, verify claims information, and communicate with internal/external customers to facilitate progress efforts. The employee will also prepare reports related to claims management and maintain electronic and manual file systems.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities include preparing claims data, verifying claims information, communicating with customers, preparing reports, and maintaining file systems. The employee will also provide limited administrative assistance to the claims coordinator and/or administrative supervisor.
