Job Description
The City of Virginia Beach is seeking a Risk Management Analyst to support enterprise-wide risk identification, assessment, and mitigation efforts.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Occupational Safety, Emergency Management, or related field; OR 4 or more years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 2–4+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, safety, operations analysis, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data analysis platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across city departments.
  • Successful background and drug screening check.
