Role OverviewThe Risk Management Investigator supports a designated region of Goodwill Central Coast by maintaining loss prevention controls, investigating reported or suspected losses, monitoring CCTV and other vulnerabilities, conducting cash and inventory checks, and working with internal teams and appropriate outside agencies when needed.
What You Will Do
Maintain the loss prevention program, conduct investigations of reported and/or suspected company losses, use legal channels to assist with recovery of misappropriated assets, develop relationships with local law enforcement, and monitor CCTV.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of progressively responsible experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, or equivalent
- Valid Class C California driver's license, a good driving record, and ability to drive for Company business
- Specialized knowledge of loss prevention systems, procedures, and techniques
- Familiarity with computer operations, typical computer programs, general accounting/bookkeeping techniques, and electronic cash registers
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; Spanish communication skills preferred
