Role OverviewAs a Risk Management Manager, you will focus on protecting patients, staff, and the organization by identifying and reducing risks related to patient care, compliance, safety, and operations. The role is 100% onsite, and the organization is a key feeder hospital with a fast-paced and diverse clinical environment. The Risk Management Manager will design, organize, coordinate, and implement the Risk Management Program to control and minimize loss to protect the human, physical, and fiscal assets of the organization.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include designing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing the Risk Management Program, participating in performance improvement data collection, assisting with claims investigation, management, and litigation, facilitating reporting of safety data/events, evaluating risk management programs, and assisting with the development and implementation of initiatives, policies, and procedures.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or healthcare related field
- Fellow or Diplomat of American Society of Healthcare Risk Managers Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM)
- Five years clinical and/or management experience in a multidisciplinary health care setting
- Two years of Risk Management experience in an acute care setting
- Knowledgeable about current State Laws and Regulations as applicable to the facility
