Job Description
Texas Workforce Commission is seeking a Risk Management Specialist to join its Risk and Security Management department. The ideal candidate will have experience in risk management, information security, loss control, and/or workers' compensation and safety programs. The position involves implementing agency risk management programs, conducting risk management reviews, and promoting and protecting the agency, its employees, contractors, and customers.
Requirements
One year of full-time experience in planning or operation of risk management, information security, loss control, and/or the workers' compensation and safety programs
Working knowledge of statutes, rules/regulations, standards, guidelines, and best practices involving the department's core areas of risk management, continuity/emergency management, safety, and physical security
Ability to gather, correlate, and analyze facts, to devise solutions to problems
State agency experience
Risk management-related certification(s)
