Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in behavioral health nursing to join our team at UT Southwestern. The successful candidate will work with minimal supervision to promote safe patient and staff processes and provide guidance on plan of care for behavioral or disruptive events.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
  • 3 years of behavioral health nursing experience
  • (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
  • UTSW's de-escalation training completion within 6 months of hire date
  • Certified psychiatric nurse (preferred)
