Job Description
This position works under the general supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider, and/or nursing leadership to provide nursing services in care and treatment of patients. Perform and accurately document physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments, actively anticipate patients and/or patient's family needs and expectations, and utilize these in conjunction with the assessment to develop an appropriate plan of care for the patient.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program
  • 1 year of RN experience
  • NLC (Nursing Licensure Compact) - BNE
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (Natl Inst Health Stroke Scale)
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) within 1-1/2 Yrs
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 1-1/2 Yrs
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation) within Hire
  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and all L&D RN competencies
