Role OverviewThis is a Full-Time position with a 12-hour Evening shift schedule on variable days of the week, including holidays and weekends. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical Acute unit at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego, you will perform assessments and prioritize care to a diverse patient population.
What You Will Do
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and utilize all resources to provide safe and optimal care, including assessment, planning, and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The Medical Acute unit is a 36-bed Medical Acute/Telemetry unit, and you will work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care, responding appropriately and delegating care responsibility during medical and psychiatric emergencies.
Requirements
- One (1) year RN experience
- Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Current CA RN
- Current BLS through American Heart Association
