Role OverviewResponsible for planning and delivering care to patients in the Urgent Care Center (UCC), utilizing nursing processes and supporting quality standards of a Magnet designated hospital.
What You Will Do
Communicate patient progress, perform intake assessments, document discharge instructions, and assist physicians with procedures.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience as an RN in a Pediatric ED/UCC or ICU setting, a BSN degree, and proficiency in computers and Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Requirements
- RN - Registered Nurse RN Licensure within the State of Florida or Multi-State Enhanced Nursing License Compact (eNLC)
- CPR BLS - American Heart Association BLS
- PALS - American Heart Association PALS
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
- BSN degree or currently enrolled in a BSN degree program
- 1 year of experience as an RN in a Pediatric ED/UCC or ICU setting
- Career Development: National certification Certified Pediatric Nurse (i.e. ANCC, CPN, or RNBC)
- PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization) completion
