Job Description
At UT Southwestern Medical Center, we're looking for skilled and compassionate nurses to join our Transplant/LVAD Unit. As a nurse on this team, you'll support patients recovering from surgical procedures, including heart, lung transplants and LVADs. You'll interpret cardiac rhythms, manage cardiac drips, immunosuppressants, and collaborate with a highly skilled interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program
  • 1 year of RN experience
  • (NLC) NURSING LICENSURE COMPACT-BNE Upon Hire and (ACLS) ADV CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
  • (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
