Role OverviewThe RN Cardiovascular Manager is responsible for supervising staff nurses and techs, conducting teaching programs, and maintaining departmental records and supplies. They must be competent in the assessment and treatment of adult and geriatric patients, and demonstrate knowledge and competence in cardiovascular procedures and equipment.
What You Will Do
The RN Cardiovascular Manager will conduct teaching programs, participate in in-service education, and assist the Director in the orientation of new staff members. They will also be responsible for proper scheduling of employees, maintaining time and attendance records, and providing input and feedback for hiring decisions and evaluations.

The ideal candidate will have two years of experience in all phases of cardiac catheterization, a minimum of one year of supervisory/charge background, and the ability to demonstrate knowledge and competence with all catheterization procedures and associated equipment.
Requirements
- Registered Cardiovascular Specialist (Invasive or Non-invasive) or Registered Nurse with cardiovascular invasive and non-invasive experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- ACLS and IABP certified
- Two years experience in all phases of cardiac catheterization
- Minimum of one year supervisory/charge background
