Role OverviewThe RN, Clinical Staff Leader is responsible for direct and indirect care of the patient, and for assigned shift. They formulate a plan and execute with oncoming staff leader as department requires.
What You Will Do
The RN, Clinical Staff Leader will be responsible for maintaining continuous updates to the Visual Management Board, ensuring bedside reporting occurs daily, and executing and ensuring adherence to appropriate bundles for CLABSI, CAUTI, etc. They will also participate and lead committees and quality initiatives.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The RN, Clinical Staff Leader must have evidence of leadership abilities, knowledge of general nursing principles and practice skills, and knowledge of organizational functions, policies, and regulations. They must also have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and be able to communicate effectively with physicians and service lines.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Tennessee
- BLS prior to going to the unit/department and maintained going forward
- Unit specific approved certification
- Certified training as required by area of practice
