Role Overview

The Clinical Unit Coordinator provides coordination of direct and indirect patient care at the hospital wide level, responsible for patient flow, personnel management, quality improvement, and direct and indirect patient care.

What You Will Do

Determines priorities of care, demonstrates attitude and communication in alignment with ASPIRE values, and assists in taking corrective action to promote effective patient care.

The incumbent must be able to perform basic nursing skills, multitask, prioritize quickly, administer medication, and communicate verbally and in written form.

Requirements

  • Completion of a nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing
  • 2 years of experience in acute care setting or specialized unit
  • Registered Nurse with a current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Ability to perform basic nursing skills on groups of patients
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly
  • Ability to administer medication utilizing the five rights
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in written form
  • Basic computer knowledge

Benefits

  • $15,000 sign-on bonus for Eligible candidates
  • Base compensation range $34.32-$58.41 hourly
