Provides education and training to nursing staff on vascular access practices, coordinates onboarding and skill validation, and monitors quality metrics. Maintains IV therapy supplies and plans educational programs for staff.

Requirements

  • Basic nursing skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Oregon Nursing license
  • Previous teaching experience as a clinical nurse educator
  • Ability to adapt emotional responses to the needs of people of varying temperament and disability
  • Ability to stoop, bend, reach and frequently lift 50 pounds or more
