Role OverviewA registered professional nurse employed by Erlanger Health System working in the Emergency Department will be shared among all the ER's. The nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care as assigned and for the supervision of other qualified staff.
What You Will Do
The nurse addresses physical, spiritual, emotional, and educational needs of the patient and coordinates the plan of care with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current licensure privileges to practice nursing in the state of employment
- BLS and ACLS completed prior to going to the unit/department and maintained going forward
- PALS required within 6 months and maintain ongoing thereafter
- TNCC or comparable education within 1 year and maintain ongoing thereafter
- ENPC or comparable education within 1 year for EDs who see and treat children and maintain ongoing thereafter
- De-escalation training/certification (example: CPI) within 6 months and maintain ongoing thereafter
