Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) position at Kingman, AZ, United States. Works under the direction of the physician and the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act to provide nursing care to patients in compliance with nursing standards and regulations. Utilizes the nursing process to make continuing assessments of the patient’s total health needs; implements nursing interventions based on assessment data; develops and implements the nursing plan of care and evaluates the patient’s response.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate of a Nursing Diploma program
  • Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license
  • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Basic EKG competency within 3 months of hire (Medical Surgical Units)
  • PALS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required within 6 months of hire (Pediatrics)
  • ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire (Intensive Care Unit/Progressive Care Unit)
  • NRP certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer (Women’s Services)
  • AWHONN Fetal Monitor Course: Basic course to be completed within 6 months of hire/transfer (Women’s Services)
  • ESI training required within 6 months of hire (Emergency Department)
  • TNCC required within 24 months of hire (Emergency Department)
  • ACLS and PALS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 90 days of hire (Surgical Services/Circulator)
  • Basic EKG competency within 30 days of hire (Surgical Services/Circulator)
  • ACLS and PALS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 90 days of hire (Surgical Services/PACU/Outpatient)
  • Minimum one year of experience in an acute care or med surg setting (Surgical Services/PACU/Outpatient)
  • Basic EKG competency within 30 days of hire (Surgical Services/PACU/Outpatient)
  • ACLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire (Cath Lab)
  • ECG competency upon hire (Cath Lab)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse (Cath Lab)
  • Basic EKG competency within 30 days of hire (Cardiology)
