Job Description
The RN Health Care Facility Surveyor will conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified health care facilities to determine compliance with Federal regulations. The position requires a Registered Nurse with experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities serving long-term care residents. The Surveyor will travel up to 75% of the time and work with internal and external customers nationwide.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT certification
  • At least two (2) years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve the residents of long-term care facilities
  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
