Job Description
As a Registered Nurse II - ECMO Specialist Program, this part-time position at UT Southwestern Medical Center involves providing nursing services to patients requiring Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) therapy, working under the supervision of physicians and nursing leadership. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of critical care nursing experience, 2 years of ECMO specialist experience, and possess required licenses and certifications.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program
  • 3 years critical care nursing experience
  • 2 years of ECMO specialist experience
  • (NLC) NURSING LICENSURE COMPACT-BNE Upon Hire
  • (ACLS) ADV CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
  • (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT
  • (NIHSS) Natl Inst Health Stroke Scale
