Job Description
UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a RN II - ECMO Specialist RN Team Lead to provide nursing services in care and treatment of patients requiring and/or potentially requiring Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) therapy. The role involves operating the ECMO device, managing ECMO-related care, and participating in multidisciplinary rounds. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of critical care nursing experience and 2 years of ECMO specialist experience.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program
  • 3 years critical care nursing experience
  • 2 years of ECMO specialist experience
  • (NLC) NURSING LICENSURE COMPACT-BNE
  • (ACLS) ADV CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT
  • (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT
  • (NIHSS) Natl Inst Health Stroke Scale
