Job Description
The Staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame, coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the State of California.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification within 3 months.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale Certification 'A' required within 3 months of hire/transfer for those working at QVH NEURO Departments and DOU.
  • Annual 8 hours of Stroke Education required for those working at QVH Neuro Departments.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • One year critical care experience is preferred.
  • Must be available to work every other weekend
